Resources
Compliance
Contacting owners is regulated. The app keeps you inside the rules; you stay responsible for how you use it.
Built into texting
Carrier registration
Your business and campaign are registered with the carriers before you send.
Identification and opt-out
The first text carries your business name and “Reply STOP to opt out”.
Opt-outs everywhere
A STOP blocks that number across every list at once.
Do-not-call
Numbers on do-not-call and opt-out lists aren’t texted.
Quiet hours
Federal 8 am to 9 pm, tightened by each state’s own rules.
State limits
Texts per day held to a state’s limit where it has one.
Your responsibility
You are the sender of record. Follow the laws that apply to you, including consent rules and your state’s rules on soliciting owners. The Texting terms explain what the app does and doesn’t do.
Questions
Is this a consumer report?
No. Deedline provides public property and court data for real estate outreach. It must not be used for credit, employment, insurance or housing decisions.
Which rules apply to my texts?
The federal rules and the rules of the owner’s state, judged from the phone’s area code and the owner’s mailing address. We apply the strictest that fits.
